Memberships

Got the pottery bug? Studio Membership is for people who want regular time, proper equipment and a shelf that slowly fills with increasingly ambitious clay experiments.

Your membership makes open access sessions free at checkout.

This gives you sessions at a lower rate than booking individually. Choose the level that fits your practice, from one session a week to more intensive studio time.

You can choose membership with wheel access, including a reserved pottery wheel, or handbuilding/glazing access.

Membership is best for people who are comfortable working mostly independently. It is not a taught course, though some sessions may be semi-supervised with brief help available.

Memberships come with your own dedicated space (50cm x 60cm x 40cm high) to store your work in progress. Your work is then safe from our other time limits, and you can use a plastic box to keep your work extra safe, etc. Additional space can be purchased for £50 per month.

What’s included

We like to keep things simple. For Open Access sessions and memberships:

• Clay, standard studio glazes and shared tools are included.

• You only pay for your studio time and for any pieces you choose to have fired.

• Please use materials sensibly, so we can keep things affordable and avoid waste. Use what you need to experiment, practise and enjoy yourself — just try not to go through more prepared clay than you reasonably need.

• Put any unfired clay you don’t want to keep in the reclaim bins provided.

• Clean your work area before you leave, ready for the next person. Leave it how you’d want to find it.

• You’re welcome to use our range of studio glazes during your session. Any glazes listed in the shop at £7 are available to use free of charge while you’re in the studio.
